The Health for EveryBODY Lab is home to an interdisciplinary research program focused on factors that influence body weight.

We study the impact of societal, institutional, and individual factors, like schools, healthcare, and health behaviors on physical, mental, and social health. Our research lab covers research topics related to obesity, eating disorders, weight stigma, health equity, physical inactivity and sedentary behaviour across the lifespan from reproductive years, childhood & adolescence into adulthood.

All our students have workstations in the Science Pavilion at Concordia University’s Loyola campus in Montreal, Quebec. Our lab is open to different fields of study.

Our Research team is composed of a mix of undergraduate students, graduate students, health professionals, researchers, people with lived experiences (youth, parents, adults and/or guardians in the YAT) that work together to design research projects aimed to improve the health and wellbeing of teens and families
